Description

Broccoli Seed Virgin Carrier Oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the broccoli plant; with a light, earthy aroma and a clear to yellow hue, it's a rich source of erucic acid, which imparts a silky texture to the skin and hair, making it a favourable choice for natural beauty formulations.

Suggested Uses:

  • Skin Care: Provides a smooth, radiant complexion.
  • Hair Conditioning: Imparts shine and manageability to hair.
  • Massage Oil: Blend with essential oils for a nourishing massage.

Shelf life: Users can expect a shelf life of 24 months with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended

Details

Botanical Name Brassica Oleracea Italica
Plant Part Seeds
Method of Extraction Cold Pressed
Processing Type Virgin
Country of Origin Germany
Common uses The perfect choice for your butters, and balms, where it will reduce greasiness and extend the shelf life, while offering a protective activity due to the excellent anti-oxidant profile. Be careful of using too much in these products as it will absorb quickly and rob your customer of the nurtured effect.

It is also an excellent choice for lip balms where it will offer natural shine and anti-oxidant protection. It is exceptional moisturising on ageing or mature skin, as well as dull, dry hair. It is best used in high dilution unless you can find a way around the scent, which is not as easy as it is very herbal. You may want to use a herbal blend of essential oils to compliment the natural odour rather than trying to mask it.
Colour Clear Gold
Consistency Liquid
