Description: Arnica Montana is widely used to soothe and relax tiered and aching muscles, reduce inflammation and bruising and treat irritation caused by insect bites. Arnica is a herb from the Asteraceae botanical family (part of the same family as the sunflower) with orange-yellow daisy-like flower heads. It is commonly found in the northern hemisphere, and the dried flower heads have long been used as an astringent and to treat skin disorders. The Arnica Flowers are seeped in Sunflower oil and left to soak for a period to infuse these wonderful properties into the Sunflower Oil.

Common Uses: In this form, Arnica is primarily used to treat injuries resulting in sprains, strains and inflammation. With anti-inflammatory and soothing effects, Arnica is especially suitable for topical application to treat under eye circles, chapped lips or irritated nostrils.
Consistency: Semi-Viscous Liquid
Absorption: It is a very dry oil which spreads easily and is absorbed relatively quickly by the skin.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 24 months with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
