Body Custard - Natural
Features: A rich emollient base that can be used as a moisturiser (occlusive-type), or as a base for creating your own rich emollient creams or lotions.
Paraben-free; Sulfate-Free; DEA-free and artificial colour-free.
Ingredients: Aqua & Avena sativa (Oat) kernal extract, Helianthus annuss (Sunflower) Seed oil, Aloe barbadensis (Aloe) leaf extract, Butyrosperum parkii (Shea) Nut Butter, Cetearyl alcohol, Cetyl alcohol, Stearic acid, Glycerin, Argania spinosa (Argan) Nut Oil, Propandiol & Salix alba, Glyceryl stearate, Coco glucosides, Tocoherol, Sodium phytate, Benzyl alcohol, Sodium hydroxide
Specifications: Thick concentrated emollient cream using oils waxes and moisturisers from all natural ingredients.
Expiry date: 2 years from date of manufacture.
Preservation: This formula contains sufficient paraben-free preservative system to last two to three years shelf life under normal conditions.
However should you wish to add more than 10% extra material or dilute the product by adding more than 10% water the we recommend that you add an additional 0.1% preservative (per 10% of added material), using preservatives such as Plantaserv P or Plantaserv Q.
Aroma: Unscented - slight oil/wax base odour easily overcome with essential or fragrant oils.
Fragrancing: Try 3 to 7 drops of essential oil or fragrant oil to 100gm of body custard.
The options are endless with this product, be creative and experiment with your favorite oils.
Colour: Uncoloured - white base colour easily coloured with water soluble colours.
Colouring: Make a dilute solution of water soluble food colours in water. Try 1 to 5 drops of dilute colours to 100gm of body custard.
Usage: A rich emollient base that can be used (as is) as a moisturiser (occlusive-type), or as a base for preparing rich emollient creams or lotions.
To use as is, take the desired amount of Body Custard and warm slightly (< 40oC). Add active ingredients, essential oils and/or colour to suit your particular purpose and cool.
Features: Solid to semi-solid base with the consistency of a thick cream.
