Aldehyde C18 is used to create coconut notes, and to add creaminess to your components. A sweet creamy, coconut, fatty with oily buttery nuances.
Uses: A widely used, powerful lactone which is reminiscent of desiccated coconut. Its intense sweetness and tenacity is often utilised along with that of Undecanolide (Aldehyde C14) in Gardenia, Tuberose, Honeysuckle, Stephanotis, Plumeria, Jasmine and many other heavy floral types.
